Full-Time Dental Hygienist Job Description
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | Full-Time
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, provides exceptional patient care, and works well in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule, offering great work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and preventative hygiene services
- Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Conduct periodontal charting and oral health assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure treatment rooms and instruments are properly sterilized and prepared
- Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages
Qualifications:
- Active Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- CPR certification preferred/current
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care
- Experience with digital charting and dental software preferred
- Team-oriented attitude with a compassionate approach to patient care
