RN Clinical Supervisor – Cardiac Surgical Step Down

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor for a Cardiac Surgical Step Down unit. This is a direct hire opportunity for an RN with strong cardiac step down experience who is ready to provide clinical leadership, support nursing staff, and help ensure excellent patient care.
Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3×12-hour shifts
- Weekend premium schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Compensation
- Pay starts at $40.12/hour
- Weekend premium pay
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or compact multistate RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical Step Down experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
- Coordinate staffing needs for current and upcoming shifts
- Assist with patient placement, transfers, and bed availability
- Serve as a clinical resource for patient care and problem resolution
- Communicate with patients, families, staff, leadership, and ancillary departments
- Monitor standards of care and support quality improvement initiatives
- Coach, counsel, and evaluate nursing personnel
- Support education, training, and policy/procedure development
- Use sound clinical judgment in response to changing patient and unit needs
