Vice President of Operations (Dental)
Location: Pennsylvania Territory
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 Base Salary + Bonus Potential
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and support the operational success of multiple dental practices throughout Pennsylvania. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving practice performance, enhancing operational efficiency, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring exceptional patient care across a multi-site dental organization.
This position requires travel throughout Pennsylvania, with occasional travel for leadership and operations meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term growth plans.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvement, scalability, and increased efficiency.
- Drive initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple dental practices.
- Establish and maintain operational standards, policies, and best practices.
- Analyze operational metrics and performance data to improve productivity and patient experience.
- Support practice leaders in achieving operational and financial objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations leaders and practice management teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Assist with recruiting, retention, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Support workplace safety, business continuity planning, and quality assurance initiatives.
Financial Performance
- Review financial and operational reports to identify growth opportunities and cost efficiencies.
- Partner with practice management and revenue cycle teams to maximize operational effectiveness and revenue performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-site dental operations or practice management, preferably within a DSO or group practice setting.
- Strong understanding of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of dental industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
