Shift: Mixed & Nights
Rotating Weekends

What You’ll Do
As a Medical-Surgical RN you will assess patient condition at admission and throughout each shift — promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status, perform procedures and clinical functions as ordered by the medical provider while ensuring thorough and timely documentation, administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response — taking swift action in the event of any unintended medication response, provide exceptional patient-centered care by responding promptly to patient needs and proactively anticipating concerns before they arise, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures — translating complex medical terminology into clear, compassionate language.

What You’ll Need
- Active Virginia RN license or multi-state compact RN license with VA eligibility — required
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing — required
- BSN preferred
- BLS/BCLS certification — required within 30 days of start date
- Acute care experience preferred but not required — cross-training available
- Oncology or Ortho/Trauma interest a plus
