Mobile Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer
Compensation:
- $40.00–$50.00+ per hour (based on experience)
- Possible relocation assistance (discussed during the interview)
- State licensure reimbursement after 90 days
Position Overview
Join a growing mobile imaging team providing diagnostic ultrasound services throughout the Omaha area. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while serving patients in skilled nursing facilities, home care settings, correctional facilities, and other healthcare locations.
A company vehicle is provided, and travel throughout the assigned service area is part of the position.
Responsibilities
- Perform portable diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Obtain high-quality, diagnostic images and securely transmit studies for radiologist interpretation.
- Manage a daily mobile schedule while maintaining communication with dispatch.
- Verify physician orders and patient identity prior to every examination.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork.
- Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff, dispatch, and patients.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicle.
- Participate in required meetings and ongoing training.
- Train and mentor new sonographers as needed.
Qualifications
- ARDMS (or equivalent) credentials required.
- Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned region.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Successful completion of background screening and drug screening.
