General Dentist
Location: Springfield, IL
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused General Dentist to join our growing practice in Springfield, Illinois. This opportunity offers a four-day work week with a schedule that will be discussed directly with the practice partner to ensure a great fit for both parties.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of clinical experience and a strong interest in sedation dentistry. However, we are also open to considering new graduates who demonstrate the clinical skills, confidence, and eagerness to develop in a comprehensive dental environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dental care to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
- Perform restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Illinois dental license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Interest in sedation dentistry required
- Preferred: 2+ years of clinical experience
- New graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical dental care
Schedule
- Four days per week
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Specific schedule to be discussed with the practice partner
