Community Liaison (Hospice Sales Representative)
Hospice Business Development | Essex, NJ
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus + Uncapped Commission
Base Salary: $80,000–$98,000 + Uncapped Commission

We’re seeking a Community Liaison to drive referral growth throughout Middlesex County by partnering with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare professionals. This is a highly visible role where you’ll help patients and families gain access to compassionate end-of-life care while building long-term partnerships throughout the medical community.

What You’ll Do
- Build Strong Referral Partnerships
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, social workers, and other healthcare professionals throughout your territory.
- Grow Hospice Census
- Increase awareness of hospice services and position the organization as the preferred hospice provider through strategic outreach, education, and relationship development.
- Educate Healthcare Professionals
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on hospice eligibility, services, and benefits while helping referral partners identify patients who could benefit from hospice care.
- Support Patients & Families
- Participate in initial hospice conversations, explain services with compassion and clarity, and help guide families through the admission process during an important stage of life.
- Represent the Organization
- Serve as the face of the hospice throughout the community while promoting its mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered end-of-life care.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience
- Hospice or palliative care business development experience strongly preferred
- Proven success building referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and other healthcare providers
- Ability to work independently while managing a defined territory
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Clinical background is a plus
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
