Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Tucson, AZ
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:40 PM (40 hours/week | No weekends or nights)
Base Salary: $100,000 – $105,000 per year
Job Summary
This position offers a redesigned outpatient clinical workflow specifically structured to support provider efficiency and work-life balance. The role features dedicated 1-on-1 patient care delivered at a manageable pace of 10 to 14 patients per day. By leveraging ambient AI technology and advanced therapeutic modalities, clinicians can focus on direct patient care while completing administrative duties during normal clinic hours.
Clinical Technology & Modalities
- AI-Scribe Integration: Ambient intelligence software automatically drafts comprehensive clinical documentation in real time, eliminating manual after-hours charting.
- Class IV Laser Therapy: Utilized for photobiomodulation treatments to enhance patient recovery and reduce manual provider fatigue.
- Radial Pressure Wave (RPW) Shockwave: Advanced therapeutic modality used to treat tendinopathies and complex soft-tissue conditions efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Evaluation & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, establish targeted plans of care, and direct long-term therapeutic interventions.
- Team Supervision & Delegation: Oversee and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), delegating treatment components appropriately to ensure optimal clinical workflow.
- Technology-Driven Interventions: Deliver high-quality, 1-on-1 manual and technology-assisted physical therapy sessions utilizing advanced clinic equipment.
- Documentation Review: Review and validate AI-generated clinical records daily to ensure accuracy, compliance, and regulatory audit readiness.
- Patient Engagement: Build strong patient rapport to encourage program adherence and optimize overall clinical outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of Arizona.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
