Physical Therapist – Orthopedics & Sports Rehabilitation

Compensation: $50.00 – $58.00 per hour
Position Overview
Are you a Physical Therapist who values having the time to provide truly individualized, one-on-one patient care?
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join an established outpatient practice in the East Bay. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working closely with patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping individuals recover from orthopedic injuries and return to the activities they enjoy.
With 45-minute follow-up appointments, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on quality patient care, build strong relationships, and create customized treatment plans based on each patient’s individual needs and goals.
What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and functional limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
- Provide exceptional, patient-centered care throughout the rehabilitation process
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program required
- Active California Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for California licensure with a licensing exam date already scheduled
- Experience in orthopedics and/or sports rehabilitation preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based treatment practices
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Please note: This position is intended for licensed Physical Therapists or candidates actively pursuing California licensure. Candidates who are not eligible for California PT licensure will not be considered.
