What You’ll Do
As an RRT/CRT you will perform and document comprehensive patient assessments including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure, conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and patient response to respiratory therapy, administer respiratory care therapies including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy, assist with placement of artificial airways, initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, monitor patients for therapeutic response and intervene appropriately in the event of unintended responses, assist with safe transportation of ventilator-dependent patients, and respond to emergent patient situations to ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required.

What You’ll Need
- NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license — required
- Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program — required
- 6+ months of recent acute care RRT experience — preferred
- CRT experience also considered
- New graduates open to conversation — welcome to apply
- BCLS — required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS — required within 6 months of hire
- PALS — required within 6 months of hire
- NRP — required within 6 months of hire
