About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a full-time Nurse Practitioner role where you’ll make a real difference for patients in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings across the Burlington, NC area. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of NPs and PAs, with comprehensive training, shadowing, and Medical Director oversight so you’re set up to succeed from day one.
Schedule & pay
- $120,000 – $135,000 per year
- Monday – Friday, day shift
- Flexible start and stop times
- Full-time, permanent
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, appropriate care for your assigned patient population
- Communicate with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and the Director of Nursing on patient care
- Round on patients, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and coordinate therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures
- Document daily visit notes in the EMR in a timely manner (dictation services available)
- Maintain accurate records of professional services, including billing reports, claims, and correspondence
- Provide additional services as needed under organizational and facility policies and regulations
What you’ll bring
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (required)
- DEA certification (required)
- One year of NP experience preferred
- Nursing background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, or General Practice preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy, compassion, and a strong patient-service mindset
- Self-motivated, flexible, collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
