Associate Veterinarian
Baltimore, MD
We are looking for a compassionate, clinically driven veterinarian to join a collaborative small animal practice in Baltimore. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced doctors and a knowledgeable support team while continuing to grow your skills across primary care, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgery.
The Role
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Establish long-term relationships with clients and their pets through comprehensive wellness and preventive medicine.
- Evaluate and treat a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions using a combination of clinical assessment and advanced diagnostics.
- Perform routine and more involved dental procedures, including oral surgery, with access to dental radiography and an experienced support team.
- Participate in a variety of soft-tissue surgical cases, including mass removals, cystotomies, pyometra procedures, gastrointestinal foreign bodies, and other general surgical needs.
- Practice with an emphasis on minimizing patient stress and creating a comfortable, low-fear veterinary experience.
- Work closely with veterinarians who have additional expertise in areas such as surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventive care.
- Take advantage of mentorship, continuing education, and both in-house and external professional development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary program.
- An active Maryland veterinary license or the ability to obtain one.
- At least two years of experience in companion-animal practice preferred.
- Prior experience with general surgery and dentistry is a plus.
- A strong commitment to quality medicine and patient-centered care.
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in working as part of a team.
