Medical Director – Veterinarian
Baltimore, Maryland
We’re seeking an experienced small-animal veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role with a strong clinical and leadership focus. You’ll continue seeing patients while helping guide the medical team, support staff development, and maintain a positive practice culture.
What You’ll Do
- Provide wellness, diagnostic, and ongoing medical care
- Handle routine soft-tissue procedures and dental cases
- Mentor doctors and veterinary support staff
- Help establish consistent clinical standards and improve day-to-day workflows
- Encourage a compassionate, low-stress approach to patient care
- Partner with practice leadership on team development and medical initiatives
Ideal Background
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program
- Maryland license or eligibility
- 3+ years of small-animal clinical experience
- Comfortable with general surgery and dentistry
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or team-development experience preferred
