Removable Dental Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Removable Dental Technician to fabricate, repair, and finish full dentures, partial dentures, and other removable dental appliances. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality dental prosthetics while meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review dental prescriptions, impressions, models, and case instructions.
- Set denture teeth and complete wax-ups for full and partial dentures.
- Process, finish, and polish acrylic dentures and removable appliances.
- Perform denture repairs, relines, rebases, and tooth additions.
- Inspect completed work for fit, occlusion, aesthetics, and quality.
- Manage assigned cases to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and properly care for laboratory equipment.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Communicate case concerns, supply needs, and potential delays to the appropriate team members.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience as a removable dental technician.
- Knowledge of full and partial denture fabrication.
- Experience with tooth setups, waxing, acrylic processing, finishing, and polishing.
- Understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and removable prosthetic materials.
- Ability to follow detailed prescriptions and manage multiple cases.
- Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex removable cases, implant overdentures, digital denture workflows, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or Certified Dental Technician (CDT) credentials.
