Title: APP – Nurse Practitioner/PA
Location: Gatesville, NC

About the Role
Join a supportive post-acute care team in Gatesville, NC as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). You’ll collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and medical directors to deliver high-quality care to patients in post-acute facilities – on a part-time, permanent schedule built around weekdays.
Schedule & Pay
- $60-$70 per hour
- – Part-time, permanent
- – 2-3 days per week, about 6 hours on site per day
- – Days, with a flexible start between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m.; finish remaining work from home after shift change
- – Participation in an on-call rotation
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and deliver excellent patient care in post-acute facilities
- – Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and facility leadership to optimize outcomes
- – Conduct patient rounds, write orders, and manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- – Document daily visit notes in the EMR (dictation services available)
- – Maintain accurate professional records, billing, and reporting
- – Provide care in line with facility policies, bylaws, and healthcare regulations
What You’ll Bring
- Active NP or PA license and DEA certification (required)
- – At least 1 year of NP/PA experience preferred
- – Background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, ER, Hospitalist, or General Practice strongly valued
- – Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- – Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- – A compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care
- – Sharp critical thinking, time management, and attention to detail
