General Dentist – Lead Dentist Opportunity

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced, motivated General Dentist to join an established dental practice in Dothan, Alabama, with the opportunity to step into a Lead Dentist role and potentially grow into a future partnership.
This opportunity is ideal for a confident clinician who is ready to take the next step beyond day-to-day dentistry and play a meaningful role in the clinical direction and long-term success of a practice. This is not an entry-level opportunity. We are looking for a dentist with the clinical experience, leadership ability, and professional maturity to help lead a practice and contribute to its continued growth.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with Fridays off.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
- Develop long-term relationships with patients through effective communication, education, and treatment planning.
- Serve as a clinical leader and resource for the dental team.
- Help foster a collaborative, patient-focused office culture.
- Support the continued growth and success of the practice through strong clinical judgment and sound decision-making.
- Collaborate with the practice team to improve patient experience, clinical efficiency, and overall performance.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to continued clinical development.
- Take an active interest in the long-term direction and success of the practice, with the potential to pursue a future partnership.
Ideal Candidate
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Active Alabama dental license in good standing.
- Several years of general dentistry experience; experienced clinicians preferred over recent graduates.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence in comprehensive treatment planning.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to build trust with patients and team members.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in practice leadership, business growth, and potential future partnership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
