Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU
Location: Beaumont, TX
Status: Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift or Night Shift – 3×12-hour shifts
Overview
A leading acute-care hospital in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). In this role you will practice independently, provide both routine and complex care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, and help manage the clinical situation by making appropriate assignments and delegating to other care team members. Experienced ICU nurses are encouraged to apply, and new graduates will be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver patient care using the full nursing process – assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation – consistent with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
- Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to manage the clinical situation
What You Bring
- Active RN license in Texas or a compact (multistate) license
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred – new graduates will be considered
- BSN preferred
Onboarding & Development
- New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
- Precepted by a designated trained staff member, with organizational and Critical Care department-specific competency validation
- Annual competency verification
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, Day Shift or Night Shift – 3×12-hour shifts
