Job Description:
We are in search of a professional Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehab to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to patients recovering from cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program, including program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as staff management and patient care coordination.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
· Oversee the daily operations of the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management.
· Provide leadership and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, and other support staff.
· Ensure that all patient care services are delivered with the highest level of quality and compassion, meeting the individual needs and goals of each patient.
· Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
· Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders to promote awareness of our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services and foster referrals.
· Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation research, technology, and treatment modalities, and incorporate these into program development and clinical practice.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
· Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license within State of practice.
· Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
· Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Respiratory Care.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Management/Supervision.
· Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in the management of cardiac and pulmonary conditions, as well as exercise prescription and monitoring.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients and families.
· Demonstrated experience in program development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
· Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and personnel effectively.
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous quality improvement.
