Emergency Department / Emergency Room Registered Nurse – ED / ER RN

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Room RN to join a fast-paced and collaborative team. This role requires quick thinking, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. As an ER RN, you will care for patients with a range of conditions—from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies—ensuring safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages with various acute conditions.
- Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Prioritize and manage multiple cases efficiently in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
- Educate patients and families on follow-up care and provide appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Emergency Room RN in an acute care setting (required).
- Licensure:
- Active RN license (compact license acceptable, with expectation to apply for Florida licensure).
- If under 3 years of RN experience, candidates must pass the Florida NCLEX prior to consideration (if not already licensed in Florida).
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma (required).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required prior to start.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required within 90 days of start.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required within 90 days of start.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – Required within 90 days of start.
