EMERGENCY ROOM RN - SIGN-ON AND RELOCATION!

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

JOB LOCATION: Douglas, WY

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage care for patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions.
• Assess patient care needs to determine prioritization of treatment.
• Stabilize patients for further treatment.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Perform diagnostic tests.
• Document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Administer medication and perform medical procedures according to doctors’ instructions, e.g. set broken bones, assist with intubations, and start intravenous lines.
• Administer patient education including follow-up care instructions.
• Provide emotional support to patients, caregivers, and family.

Job Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) Wyoming license.
• 2 years of experience as an ED nurse or RN in critical care settings, preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong clinical skills in area of specialty
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in emergency situations.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
