We are a progressive general dental practice in Duluth, seeking a talented and driven In-House Lab Technician to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all aspects of our in-house laboratory operations, with primary emphasis on the precise fabrication of dental prostheses and devices. Responsibilities
- Design & Fabrication: Expertly design and fabricate porcelain and zirconia crowns, as well as acrylic and zirconia implant-supported dentures, utilizing a comprehensive digital workflow.
- Lab Management: Oversee all laboratory operations, including case tracking, equipment maintenance, and ensuring efficient, high-quality production.
- Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on lab equipment to guarantee optimal performance and consistent output quality.
- Case Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of all lab cases to ensure accurate tracking and timely completion.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with the dental team to understand patient needs and provide essential support for successful case outcomes.
- Digital Workflow: Demonstrate a strong command of digital workflow processes and stay current with the latest advancements in dental technology.
- Occlusion Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of occlusion principles to achieve superior results in crown and denture fabrication.
- General Dental Knowledge: Maintain a broad understanding of general dental procedures and techniques to contribute to the overall success of the practice.
- Assisting Experience: Prior experience in dental assisting is advantageous and supports effective collaboration with the clinical team.
Qualifications
- EXOCAD Proficiency: Must be highly skilled in EXOCAD with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Must be able to design full arch with implants and be able to deliver same day!
- Dental Lab Experience: Proven track record as a Dental Lab Technician, specializing in implant-supported restorations.
- Digital Design & CAD/CAM: Proficiency in digital design software and CAD/CAM systems.
- 3D Printing & Finishing: Experience with 3D printing, staining, and glazing.
- Occlusion & Dental Knowledge: Strong understanding of occlusion principles and general dental procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Dental Assisting: Previous dental assisting experience is a plus but not required.
