PHYSICAL THERAPIST (CLINICAL)
LOCATION: La Grande, OR
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday
The Physical Therapist plays a key role in providing outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong experience and a specialized skill set that enhances and expands the range of services available to our clients. This position demands a genuine passion for helping others, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of clinicians and administrative personnel to maintain smooth and continuous care. Responsibilities:
- Build strong rapport with patients to support their healing journey.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with clear, measurable goals, and work toward achieving these outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, administer treatments, and manage discharges, ensuring all related documentation is completed accurately.
- Educate patients on their treatment plans to encourage engagement and collaborative participation.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, including timely data entry into the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Manage patient scheduling effectively, including handling waitlists and coordinating appointments.
- Provide assistance to patients with mobility needs and support those who may be ill or distressed.
- Respond proactively in emergency or incident situations by assisting staff or summoning EMS when necessary.
- Uphold all required certifications and licenses in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, colleagues, and other staff members.
- Stay informed about available clinical services and promote them to patients as appropriate.
- Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts to support clinic growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the clinic.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate) from an accredited institution.
- Open to recent graduates and supportive of those starting their career journey.
- Current or eligibility to obtain a Physical Therapy license in Oregon.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
