Position Title: Nurse Manager – Emergency Room (ER)

Shift: Full-Time | Days

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Department: Emergency Services

🩺 Position Summary:

The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services leads nursing operations within the Emergency Department and is responsible for fostering a supportive, efficient, and patient-centered environment. Working under the guidance of senior leadership, this position ensures high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in emergency nursing practices.

📚 Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 
  
• Licensure:
• Active Texas RN license (or temporary permit)
• 
  
• Experience:
• At least 2 years of recent ER leadership experience
• Clinical practice in a related nursing area within the last 3 years
• 
  
• Certifications:
• Current BLS, ACLS
• PALS or ENPC (required within one year of hire)
• Preferred: National certifications (CEN, CCRN, CNRN, etc.)
• 
  

👥 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily ER operations, including staffing, safety, and patient flow
• Mentor and develop ER nursing staff in alignment with best practices and organizational goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership to meet performance, safety, and quality metrics
• Promote evidence-based nursing care and an autonomous nursing practice culture
• Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
