Title: Registered Nurse (Acute Care / Float Pool)

What You’ll Do

• Deliver individualized nursing care using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Admit, treat, and discharge adult patients with diverse conditions.
• Float to units as needed, adapting quickly to changing environments.
• Participate in committees, quality improvement projects, and surveys.
• Uphold the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred).
• Current RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Recent acute care experience required.
• Certifications:
• BLS required.
• ACLS required prior to completion of orientation.
• NIH Stroke Scale required prior to completion of orientation.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong adaptability and flexibility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to handle confidential information and therapeutic equipment.
