Registered Nurse (RN) Manager – Progressive Care

Location: Atlantis, FL

Schedule: Full-time • Mixed Shifts (No Weekends)

Position Summary

The RN Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through the oversight of daily operations, staffing, and clinical excellence within the Progressive Care Unit. This role includes monitoring and evaluating nursing care practices, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and holding staff accountable for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in alignment with established standards.
• Ensure staffing levels support patient needs and clinical quality objectives.
• Support and develop nursing staff through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient care excellence and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license or compact license (must meet Florida state licensing requirements).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum of 2 years of current clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management.
• Must have recent acute care experience as a Charge Nurse (minimum 3 years).
• Strong candidates with recent acute care experience in telemetry, stepdown, or critical care will be considered.
