LOCATION: Kansas City, MO

SHIFT: Nights 3x12's |7pm-7am

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Job Description:

The CNL - Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. 
• Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. 
• Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
• Interview others: Team facilitation & have meeting skills

Requirements:

• Current Acute Care Med Surg| Preferred Charge Nurse Exp.
• Active RN license within the State of practice.
• AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) BLS & ACLS required 
• ADN or Diploma in Nursing program required. BSN preferred. 
• Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred. 
• One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.
