Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Cardiac Imaging

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in cardiac imaging, you will operate with autonomy, build meaningful relationships with care teams, and play a critical role in the early detection of cardiac disease — all while being supported by a company that invests in your training, safety, and professional growth.


What You'll Do

You will serve as the clinical expert on-site, performing nuclear cardiac stress testing and perfusion imaging studies from setup to completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing rest and stress cardiac perfusion studies and processing images for physician review, conducting daily quality control checks and camera calibrations with full NRC/State documentation, ordering, calibrating, and inventorying radiopharmaceuticals for each day of service, maintaining strict radiation safety protocols including daily surveys of the hot lab, exam room, camera, and personnel, managing radioactive material (RAM) waste coordination, ordering, and inventory, assisting the Radiation Safety Officer with site audits and licensing compliance, compiling and submitting all daily paperwork, physician signatures, and patient imaging/charting on the same day of service, conducting random audits of NMT image quality and radiation safety standards, and participating in the training and mentoring of new team members.

What You'll Need

  • Certification or degree in Nuclear Medicine
  • Active NMTCB or ARRT(N) license in good standing
  • Current state license where applicable
  • Minimum of one year of nuclear medicine imaging experience with a focus on cardiac exams and equipment quality assurance (preferred)
  • AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical capability to push and pull 800+ lbs of medical equipment
