As a Medical Physicist you will contribute to a program that includes Central Virginia's first Neuroscience and Gamma Knife Center, Focused Ultrasound for essential tremors — the first of its kind for HCA Healthcare in the United States — and a comprehensive cancer care program that is transforming patient outcomes across Greater Richmond and the Tri-Cities area.

What You'll Do

As a Medical Physicist you will provide clinical physics support for radiation oncology and neuroscience programs, apply your Gamma Knife expertise to support one of Central Virginia's most advanced neuroscience programs, collaborate with radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe and precise delivery of radiation treatments, perform quality assurance, dosimetry, treatment planning, and equipment calibration in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, contribute to the development and implementation of physics protocols and safety procedures, and support clinical

research and innovation initiatives within the radiation oncology and neuroscience programs.

What You'll Need

  • Master's Degree — required
  • Gamma Knife experience — required
  • Board eligible or board certified — required
