Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and finish a variety of ceramic and fixed dental restorations.
  • Work primarily on posterior and general restorative cases while also handling routine anterior restorations.
  • Perform ceramic layering, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing.
  • Work with materials such as zirconia, lithium disilicate, porcelain, and other laboratory ceramics.
  • Finish and characterize restorations according to the prescription and required shade.
  • Ensure proper anatomy, occlusion, contacts, contours, and emergence profiles.
  • Evaluate restorations for fit, function, and overall quality before completion.

  • Maintain accurate and organized case workflow while meeting production deadlines.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and instruments clean and properly maintained.
  • Consistently follow laboratory safety and quality-control protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a dental ceramist or dental laboratory technician.
  • Hands-on experience with fixed prosthodontic restorations.

  • Good attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet established deadlines.
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to producing consistent work.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with crowns and bridges.
  • Experience with posterior zirconia and layered restorations.
  • Experience with implant crowns and abutment restorations.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM workflows.
  • Experience with full-contour zirconia adjustments and characterization.
  • Experience with occlusal adjustments and functional anatomy.
  • Experience working in a production-oriented dental laboratory.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a well-rounded, reliable ceramist who can handle the day-to-day variety of a busy dental laboratory. The position does not require specialized high-esthetic anterior artistry, but the ability to produce clean, accurate, functional, and consistently good-looking restorations is essential.

The successful candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, understands the importance of deadlines, and can maintain consistent quality across a wide range of cases.

Compensation
