Job Title: Advanced Imaging Technologist - Multiple Modalities

Schedule: Full-Time

• Tuesday - Friday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a diverse range of imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including Interventional Radiology, MRI, X-Ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and OR C-Arm guided procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, technical excellence, and efficient workflow within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including but not limited to:
• Interventional Radiology
• MRI
• X-Ray
• CT
• Nuclear Medicine
• OR C-Arm guided procedures
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment functionality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• NYS DOH license and NYS Contrast Media Injection license required.
• Advanced ARRT certification (e.g., CT, IR, MRI, MRSO, ARDMS, NMTCB) required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Completion of the ACR Image Wisely/Image Gently radiation dose pledge required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
