Job Description:

We are in search of a professional Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to join our great team. Our team member that will perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention in medical diagnoses. Effectively identifies predictable problems, follows established procedures and plans in a team approach. Ensuring patient care in a professional and caring manner.  

Responsibilities:

·   Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.

·   Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. 

·   Operate equipment and perform various related procedures.

·   Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

·   Explain procedures and educate patients.

·   Review and make initial observations of images and communicating data to physician.

·   Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

·   Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·   Associate degree or Technical Degree in Ultrasound/Sonography required.

·   Credentialed from ARDMS.

·   Experience in OB/GYN required.

·   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
