Job Summary:
We are in search of a professional pulmonologist to be responsible for the respiratory health of our patients. This will include treating breathing disorders, severe allergies, and other lung conditions and diseases. You should be able to effectively diagnose patients and suggest a successful course of treatment.
Physicians must show empathy and compassion towards your patients and be knowledgeable in specialist procedures, respiratory illnesses, & diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with patients regarding symptoms and concerns.
- Diagnosing and treating acute or chronic lung conditions, such as asthma, emphysema, pneumonia, bronchitis, tuberculosis, lung cancer, and other lung conditions.
- Conducting diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary function tests, and other procedures to diagnose medical conditions.
- Prescribing medications, oxygen therapy, and physical therapy as part of treatment plans for patients.
- Stabilize and comfort patients, also educating about their conditions and treatments, advising lifestyle changes that can improve their health.
- Provide support and advice to patients requiring long-term care.
- Coordinate activities of hospital staff, including primary care physicians, nurses, and social workers for proper patient care.
- Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.

Requirements:
- Current medical license in state of practice required.
- Certification required from the American Board of Medical Specialties.
- Residency training, specializing in pulmonology.
- Excellent communication, compassion, and organizational skills.
- Strong clinical diagnostic skills.
- Outstanding research and analytical skills.
- The ability to communicate information in layman terms to patients and/or their families.
- Flexible work hours.
