REGISTERED NURSE - EMERGENCY ROOM (SIGN-ON AND RELOCATION)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

LOCATION: Douglas, WY 

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate is a professional caregiver with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and critical thinking abilities, who thrives in urgent and unpredictable environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room using the nursing process.
• Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement a realistic plan of care.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment and monitor patients’ responses to interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Must obtain PALS, NRP, and TNCC within one year of hire.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
