Job Summary: 

We are in search of a professional, passionate Urologist to join our team of doctors. You will care for a wide array of patients with a goal to eradicate, treat, and/or maintain quality of life as it pertains to an individual case.  You will diagnose and treat various diseases found within the urinary tract and related parts of the male reproductive system.  As well as, provide checkups and basic appointments and also perform surgery to treat threatening medical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and/or order tests to diagnose the patient and determine the cause of their issues associated with disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connective tissues
• Treat patients' disorders related to the reproductive organs, urinary tracts, bladders and kidneys 
• Assess the physical and mental well-being of patients, documenting and reviewing patients' histories, ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests: as well as evaluating the level of independence of a patient.
• Using specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters. Performing abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary
• Treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions by prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries. Also, prescribing medications for patients with reproductive disorders.
• Providing Urology consultations or referring patients to specialists.  Directing 
• nurses, residents, or other staff

Requirements:

• Current Medicine Doctor license in state of practice required.
• Urology board certification required.
• Five (5) plus years of experience as Urologist
• Up to date with recent research, publications and discoveries in the field.  Knowledge of latest technology and best practices.
• The ability to communicate information in layman terms to patients and/or their families.
• Is compassionate and warm towards patients, who often suffer from painful and debilitating conditions.
• Possesses a 'good bedside manner' and has excellent listening skills.
