MRI TECHNOLOGIST

LOCATION: Hood River, OR

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent, Days

Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment while considering each patient's individual and age-specific needs. Applies expert knowledge and judgment related to imaging factors, techniques, and patient care to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Job Requirements

• Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Active MRI Technologist License or Temporary MRI Technologist License required at the time of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Within six months of hire, must obtain national certification as an MRI Technologist through either:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
