SHIFT: Day and Nights Rotating Weekends

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Position Overview:

An experienced and resourceful Emergency Room RN is needed to join a busy trauma facility in Ocala. This role requires strong clinical decision-making, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages with varying acuity levels
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Manage multiple cases efficiently while prioritizing patient needs
• Provide discharge instructions and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with clinical standards

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (ER, ICU, or PCU strongly preferred). Paramedic experience is a plus.
• Licensure: Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation if applicable)
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 30 days of start
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 90 days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required within 90 days
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 6 months
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNCC Instructor – required within 6 months
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – required within 6 months
