Emergency Room RN – Acute Care Facility

ER Registered Nurse position with a 99-bed acute care hospital located in North Central Florida, serving residents of Putnam County and surrounding areas. This facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care with a full range of services, including a 10-bed ICU, 24-hour emergency department, cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient/outpatient rehab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service aligned with the organization’s mission and values
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes; document care accurately and thoroughly
• Administer medications and modify treatment plans based on patient responses and provider directives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care
• Support and supervise team members; assist with exams and procedures
• Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and nursing research initiatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care ER experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Must obtain the following certifications within 30 days of employment:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Licensure:
• Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience and a compact license may be considered while applying for FL licensure
• Candidates with less than 3 years of experience must pass the NCLEX in Florida to be eligible
