Job Description: Dental Lab Manager – Start-Up All-on-Four Lab

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Lab Manager to lead the launch and operation of a new All-on-Four dental implant laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to build a cutting-edge lab from the ground up, specializing in All-on-Four implant prosthetics, and to manage all aspects of lab workflow, quality control, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lab Setup & Operations
• Oversee the complete start-up process of the All-on-Four dental lab, including equipment procurement, lab design, and workflow planning.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to All-on-Four prosthetic fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership & Training
• Recruit, train, and manage dental technicians and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Provide ongoing education on the latest All-on-Four techniques and technologies.
• Quality Control & Production
• Monitor production quality to ensure prosthetics meet clinical specifications and patient expectations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Coordinate with dentists and clinicians to ensure seamless communication and case management.
• Inventory & Budget Management
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies specific to All-on-Four implant cases.
• Develop and manage the lab budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a dental laboratory, preferably with All-on-Four or implant prosthetics specialization.
• Strong knowledge of dental materials, CAD/CAM technology, and implant-supported prosthetics.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and adapt to a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in dental labs.
