Flight Nurse- Trauma ICU ( Will Train 4-5 yrs. ICU, or CCU RN Exp.| Relocation offered

Required Experience: 5 years Critical Care RN Exp. , Previous ICU exp. preferred Not Required

14 Week Flight for Life Training & Orientation Schedule

• Colorado ( Housing provided)
• 12-14 weeks on-site, required
• Two weeks didactic
• 10-12 weeks precepted critical care transport training
• (3) 12-hour shifts per week; variable schedule requiring nights, days, and weekends (eligible for differentials)
• Lodging provided 
• Mileage reimbursement for (1) trip home to visit during 14-week training
• Own, reliable vehicle transportation required to commute to training bases
• Post-training, 2-year commitment agreement required designated location KS



$8,000 Relocation offered

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's required
• BSN Preferred

License/Certification Requirements

• Current state RN license for applicable state of employment or current RN license from a participating state in National Compact Licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS required
• Current PALS upon hire or within six months of hire/transfer required
• NRP upon hire or within 12 months of hire/transfer required
• Certified Flight Registered Nurse upon hire or within 2 years of hire/transfer required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass the annual review of driving record for safe vehicle operations required
• Must maintain current on all certifications required by Commission for Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems required
• Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) upon hire or within 12months of hire/transfer required
