PACU Nurse with Sign On Up to $15K plus relocation

Position: PACU Registered Nurse

Location: Panama City (must live within 30 minutes of the facility)

Shift: Mixed 10-hour shifts (7–5:30, 8–6:30, 9–7:30, 10–8:30) + on-call rotation

Overview:

Join a high-acuity surgical team and provide expert post-operative care as a PACU RN. In this critical role, you'll manage airway support, monitor neuro and cardiac status, and ensure smooth, safe recoveries. You'll work with a collaborative, experienced surgical team, making a direct impact during the most crucial phase of a patient's journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in the immediate post-op setting
• Monitor and document vital signs, neuro/cardiac status, and post-anesthesia responses
• Respond rapidly to complications or side effects of anesthesia
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on post-op care and next steps

Requirements:

• Active RN license (or APRN)
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care PACU RN experience
• Strongly prefer additional ICU/Critical Care experience
• BLS – within 30 days of hire
• ACLS & PALS – within 60 days of hire
• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required
