Position Title: Registered Nurse – Adult ICU (Full-Time, Nights)

Location: Muskogee Campus

Department: Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week) | 12-hour night shifts (3 per week)

Weekends & Holidays: Required per departmental rotation

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse provides evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients. Responsibilities include continuous patient assessment, clinical decision-making, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and documentation following established protocols.

📚 Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license (multi-state or Oklahoma)
• 6–12 months of RN experience required
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class within 6 months of hire
• ACLS certification required within 3–6 months of hire
• BLS certification required

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of disease management, clinical pathways, and ICU protocols
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and document effectively
• Works well independently and within a team

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver patient-centered care
• Manage complex patient conditions in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Utilize electronic documentation and adhere to unit-specific policies
• Support departmental performance improvement and continuing education initiatives

• Interacts directly with patients and families
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
• Interfaces with internal and external healthcare stakeholders
• Reports to nursing leadership and works closely with Directors and Managers
