Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. The SLP will develop personalized therapy plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and work closely with patients and families to improve quality of life through effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on strategies for communication improvement.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists).
• Participate in IEP meetings (for school-based roles) and contribute to educational planning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Stay updated on current research, tools, and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or certification (as required by state law).
• CPR certification (if required by setting).
• Experience in educational, clinical, or healthcare settings preferred.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in recordkeeping and use of electronic health records (EHR) or school-based systems.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Work Environment:

• May work in schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, private practice, or in-home settings.
• May require standing, sitting, and light lifting.
