Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced TC Manager / SME to lead our advanced dental laboratory operations, with specialized expertise in implants, All-on-X, and full-arch conversions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in CAD design and ceramics, be a confident communicator, and provide clinical-level case planning support. This leadership role combines operational oversight with hands-on technical expertise to ensure that all cases meet our company’s gold-standard quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations within the TC department, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on implants, All-on-X / full-arch conversions, and advanced restorative workflows.
- Provide clinical-level case planning support, working closely with doctors, technicians, and teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluate and interpret CBCT scans, digital impressions, and clinical photography to guide case design and restoration recommendations.
- Oversee and participate in the creation, calibration, and competency development of Operations (OPs) and Front of House (FOH) teams.
- Maintain rigorous quality control oversight, ensuring all completed cases meet company and industry standards before delivery.
- Collaborate with CAD designers and ceramists to develop world-class prosthetic solutions.
- Train, mentor, and coach team members to elevate technical skills and maintain uniform quality standards.
- Act as the communications bridge between clinical partners, lab technicians, and leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in an advanced dental laboratory environment.
- Proven expertise in implants, All-on-X, and full-arch conversions.
- Strong background in both CAD design and ceramic artistry (ceramist experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced skills in interpreting CBCT data, scans, and clinical imagery for treatment planning.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — must be confident and comfortable engaging with clinicians and internal teams.
- Demonstrated experience training and calibrating technical and front-of-house personnel.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strict deadlines under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in every restoration.
