Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced TC Manager / SME to lead our advanced dental laboratory operations, with specialized expertise in implants, All-on-X, and full-arch conversions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in CAD design and ceramics, be a confident communicator, and provide clinical-level case planning support. This leadership role combines operational oversight with hands-on technical expertise to ensure that all cases meet our company’s gold-standard quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations within the TC department, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on implants, All-on-X / full-arch conversions, and advanced restorative workflows.
  • Provide clinical-level case planning support, working closely with doctors, technicians, and teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate and interpret CBCT scans, digital impressions, and clinical photography to guide case design and restoration recommendations.
  • Oversee and participate in the creation, calibration, and competency development of Operations (OPs) and Front of House (FOH) teams.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control oversight, ensuring all completed cases meet company and industry standards before delivery.
  • Collaborate with CAD designers and ceramists to develop world-class prosthetic solutions.
  • Train, mentor, and coach team members to elevate technical skills and maintain uniform quality standards.
  • Act as the communications bridge between clinical partners, lab technicians, and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in an advanced dental laboratory environment.
  • Proven expertise in implants, All-on-X, and full-arch conversions.
  • Strong background in both CAD design and ceramic artistry (ceramist experience strongly preferred).
  • Advanced skills in interpreting CBCT data, scans, and clinical imagery for treatment planning.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — must be confident and comfortable engaging with clinicians and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated experience training and calibrating technical and front-of-house personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strict deadlines under pressure.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in every restoration.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is perfectly suited for a CAD designer or ceramist with extensive implant and prosthetic experience, who can confidently lead a team, maintain exceptional quality standards, and act as the technical authority in all complex restorative cases.
