Title:Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data including EKGs and heart rhythms.
• Provide direct and individualized nursing care based on standards of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac monitoring and recovery.
• Participate in committees, surveys, and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act

Requiements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (TX or Compact State).
• Certifications:
• BLS required
• ACLS required prior to completion of orientation
• NIH Stroke Scale required prior to completion of orientation
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong ability to interpret complex telemetry data
• Professionalism in demeanor and communication
