Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Status Fulltime

Shift: Nights

As an Emergency Department RN, you’ll be at the heart of high-acuity, fast-paced care. You’ll serve patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of illnesses and injuries—some critical, some urgent—all demanding adaptability, prioritization, and compassion.

What You’ll Do

• Rapidly assess and triage patients in high-pressure scenarios.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Anticipate, prioritize, and adapt to unpredictable volumes and acuity surges.
• Educate patients and families about care, treatment, and follow-up.
• Uphold nursing standards and participate in improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (TX or Compact State).
• Certifications:
• BLS required
• ACLS prior to completion of orientation
• TNCC within 18 months of hire
• ENPC and/or PALS prior to completion of orientation
• NIH Stroke Scale prior to completion of orientation
• Skills & Attributes:
• Initiative & urgency in care delivery
• Adaptability in a constantly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professionalism in appearance and demeanor
