Position: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you’ll play a vital role in caring for patients with complex conditions by monitoring and interpreting life-saving data. What You’ll Do

• Provide direct, individualized patient care using evidence-based nursing principles.
• Connect patients to telemetry equipment, monitor EKG and heart rhythms, and interpret data.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement, committees, and professional initiatives.
• Uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Current RN license (Texas or compact state).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).
• Strong professional appearance, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
