LOCATION: Billings, MT

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking a Clinical Director to lead our hospice clinical team and ensure patients and families receive compassionate, high-quality care. This leadership role combines strategic oversight with hands-on support for clinical staff, helping shape both the patient experience and organizational success. Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for clinical staff and services.
• Support and mentor Clinical Supervisors and nursing teams to deliver excellent patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Oversee hiring, training, orientation, and professional development of clinical personnel.
• Monitor clinical records, patient census trends, and operational indicators to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, policy development, and strategic goals.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
• Serve as acting Executive Director when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator.

Qualifications

• Current RN license; Bachelor’s in Nursing required (Master’s preferred).
• At least 3 years of management experience in hospice or healthcare.
• Hospice experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of business management, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Licensed driver with reliable, insured transportation.
