This 46-bed hospital provides specialized care for Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry, including ECT services.

Schedule: Days + Management Call

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with leadership and behavioral health background

Preferred:

• 5 years RN experience, with 2–5 years in leadership
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field

Role Summary

The Assistant Director is responsible for the operational and clinical management of designated psychiatric units on a 24-hour basis. This includes overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing and support teams within psychiatric services.
• Manage hiring, training, and performance of clinical staff.
• Develop and manage departmental staffing and budgets to meet operational goals.
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, and high-quality patient care.
• Promote compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, outcomes, and team engagement.
• Support growth and efficiency within existing and new behavioral health programs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s (minimum); BSN or MSN preferred
• Experience: 2–5 years (minimum), 5–10 years preferred
• Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• License: RN (required)
