SPECIALTY UNIT: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Manager – CVICU Manager

LOCATION: Dallas, TX

SHIFT: Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)

SALARY: $84K-$127K (Heavily based on years of experience)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Job Summary

• The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals.
• Provides leadership, clinical expertise, and functional direction to OR supervisors and staff to achieve optimal perioperative patient outcomes.
• Evaluates quality of perioperative practices in relation to established professional and legal standards.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to facilitate the delivery of patient care. 
• Other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2+ years of Surgical Services Leadership experience required (ability to circulate or scrub in the OR)
• Bachelor of Nursing degree required.
• Master’s in nursing or related degree preferred..
• Demonstrates knowledge of financial implications of materials, equipment, and human resources.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• CNOR required within one year of hire/ transfer or promotion preferred.

Salary Range: Min-84,849, Mid-106,059, Max-127,274 (Heavily based on years of experience)
