Permanent or Travel Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)

Location: Multiple Locations (Regional) – Flexible Travel Assignments

• Locations to Cover would be Regional within Virginia OR North Carolina OR Coastal NC/VA

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent or Travel

• Regional Units Provider positions to cover medical leave, vacations, notice periods, increase in census numbers
• Monday - Friday DAYS, 9am-5pm
• Base Rate $140,000
• Mileage paid at the current federal rate ( $.70 per mile)
• Per Diem $70.00 per day for meals
• Lodging- Covered and arranged by Employer
• Full Benefits Pkg
• 3 Weeks PTO

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
• Float regionally to multiple facilities as assigned, adapting to diverse patient populations and unit workflows.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety programs.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PAC license in the state(s) of practice; compact or multi-state licenses preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally on a flexible schedule.
